In his debut album, Impossible Space, Jonny Martyr takes the piano and builds a world of sound with contemporary classical, electronica, post-rock and serialist influences.

This is music as architecture, ranging from soft acoustic pieces, humming with static, to grand chambers of rolling synthesizers. Piano tones are warped and twisted, transformed into drum kits and dust motes, and set adrift in an ever-changing ocean of sound, brimming with detail.
